At international Airport, new energy centre housed with 5 x 1500 D.G.sets standby mode for power back up.

Problem

The DG sets while running up to full capacity they were emitting huge noise of noise above 116dB combined when all the five DG sets operational. The plant is located at close proximity to VVIP lounge building.

Solution

Our company thoroughly studied and analysed the noise and ventilation problem in coordination with DG set OEM, Electrical contractor, Builder and end user. We designed and provided acoustical room treatment with ventilation systems, attenuators, louvers and acoustic doors and aesthetics’ to international standards.

Result

The noise levels were brought down to 66dB with reduction of 49dB , which is over performing and exceeded the customer expectations, and has been on of the bench mark for our engineering expertise in this field of noise control.
